Nutrition educationfor children and families

At Nutrinación we teach habits that start at the table, on the playground and at home, before a doctor's visit is ever needed.

A family plays together on a tablet at the table at home: the boy points at the screen while the adults look on.

Habits take shapebefore the doctor's office

Nutrition education starts with everyday experiences. That's why we involve children and the people who accompany them, at home and at school.

  • Start early

Our relationship with food begins in childhood

The habits and food preferences formed during childhood can stay with us into adult life. It's a chance to teach from an early age.

  • Surroundings matter

    School shapes habits too

Snack time, recess and classroom activities offer chances to get to know foods, enjoy movement and practice self-care.

  • Learning as a family

Adults are part of it too

At Nutrinación, mothers, fathers and caregivers take part in the learning. The idea is to discover and practice habits together, with curiosity and without scolding.

Nutrition is more thanwhat's on the plate

Four ways of taking care of yourself that we teach together, because in daily life they go together too.

  • Healthy eating

What we eat, how we prepare it and how we look after what reaches the table.

  • Physical activity

Moving and playing as part of the day, not as a chore.

  • Self-care

Hygiene, oral health and other kinds of care we learn from an early age.

  • Emotional well-being

How we feel, and how we relate to food and to our bodies.

Plant, nurtureand harvest

We are farmers of family well-being, and this is how we work.

  1. 1

    Plant

A new food culture among children and young people.

  2. 2

    Nurture

We guide households with friendly, science-based learning.

  3. 3

    Harvest

    Healthy communities, built through prevention.

We plant education to harvest well-being.

In development

Every workshop is alearning experience

PlayHub is where nutrition is shared. Children play and learn in an interactive way, at school, in the community and at home, and families join in to discover, move and take care of themselves together.

Three ways to use it

  • Schools and specialized centers

The center's administration assigns the workshops, an educator guides them and the children play in class.

  • Organizations and companies

The organization assigns the workshops to its team's families or to its communities, with an educator or facilitator.

  • At home

The family uses it on its own: no educator needed.

Institutions

For schools, centers, organizations and companies

  • Educational content with a scientific basis.
  • Everyone in their role: your administration assigns the workshops, an educator guides them and the children play.
  • Used in class or with the families of your community.

Families

For mothers, fathers and caregivers

  • Every workshop is a learning experience to share as a family.
  • It can be used at home, with no educator needed.
  • It doesn't replace your pediatrician or nutritionist: it complements them.

Ourcommitment

What we do and what we don't, said clearly.

  • Scientific basis

We teach with a scientific basis, in clear and friendly language.

  • Education, not medical care

We don't diagnose, treat or prescribe diets. We educate.

  • A complement to professionals

We don't replace doctors, nutritionists or psychologists: we support their work.

  • Child safety

We don't ask for children's data. Our forms are for adults only.

Nutrinación offers educational content. It does not replace the guidance of health professionals.
